Brass Gate Valve

Runner Sanitary has a wide selection of brass gate valves for your application. Gate valves are also called shut-off valves and are manually controlled valves for on/off flow control by rotating a hand wheel to lift or lower a wedge (also called disc) in the (non-obstruction) flow path. Due to their simple design, they are reliable and require little maintenance. The brass housing allows it to be used for water or other neutral liquid media. Due to gate valves requiring multiple turns of the hand wheel it closes/opens slow enough to prevent against a water hammer.
