The brass hexagon union male-female is made of brass which allows for adapting the end of a pipe or fitting with female thread to another with male thread of smaller dimension. It is formed by a cylindrical male threaded end and the other end with internal female thread of greater size, with hexagonal outer shape for wrench tightening.
